Look at the animation for the New Moon chart. Pay special attention to the path of the Sun . Note the keynotes and where they fall in the zodiac. The Sun began its journey, as we are tracking it, three months ago in the astrological sign of Scorpio corresponding to I-Ching Hexagram 43, Line 1 (Breakthrough: Insight: Inventiveness) with the Hexagram image of Lake/Heaven)  (November 12, 2007). It moved through the houses of the Zodiac that primarily relate to awareness, values, superconsciousness, career, and now into the domain of collective relatedness. From here you move toward how you integrate the new values and awareness of the past few months into your subconscious and how you bring this information into your personality as you recognize how you can use yourself as a vehicle of change in the world. The importance of your empathic openness to the energy of cosmic forces continues to shape you as you integrate new and different kinds of patterns into your being. It is essential to remain aligned to your own life purpose as part of the whole. When this New Moon occurs, the Sun is in Aquarius corresponding to the I-Ching Hexagram 13, Line 5: Fellowship of Man: Listener (Application) Heaven/Fire. With both the Sun and Moon  in the same degree position in the zodiac in Aquarius , they share the same place in you energetically. This position activates you in some very specific ways. It triggers your energetic body primarily toward new ways of thinking and orienting yourself in the world, i.e., toward inner and outer transformation; it pushes you to better align your process to changing conditions to meet the needs of your own process as well as to the process of humanity at this time, in this universe. You are being “pushed” toward innovation in yourself.

The Sun and the Moon both activate Hexagram 13, Line 5: Fellowship of Man: Listener (Application) Heaven/Fire, in both the waking world, the world in which we live and function, and in the emotional/angelic world, the world of transformation of emotional awareness and consciousness, i.e., the sense of oneness with all cycles of life and the aligning of emotional consciousness to serve more than just yourself. The Keynotes for this Hexagram shows that satisfaction comes through listening to others and to your self and then in applying this information in ways that bring new ways of being. It moves you forward, placing unity of time and space into application. The energy of this Hexagram is that it turns your direction toward connecting layers of being beyond that of your individual self and its mundane reality. The position of the Earth 180 degrees opposite the position of the Sun /Moon activates Hexagram 7, Line 5: The Army: Role of the Self (Perspective), Earth/Water. It activates in both the waking world, the world in which you live and function, and in the emotional/angelic world, the world that guides you toward transformed instinctive awareness in the interest of your highest purpose. The Keynotes for this Hexagram tell of the importance of finding your path as a leader of others in serving a higher purpose. The keynotes emphasize that when you carefully listen to and coordinate your individual purpose with the purpose of the collective you will find that they align. You then feel unique and enhanced in your capacity to build your creative core.

Note that the Sun's path has closure on May 5, 2008 at 21:16:11 GMT (three months after this New Moon ) with the Sun in 15 degrees 41 minutes in Taurus   corresponding to I-Ching Hexagram 2, Line 3 (The Receptive: Direction of Self (Orientation: Positioning), Earth/Earth. In the course of the planetary movements in the animated cosmic dance, watch the Sun in its path. As the animation begins only Saturn and the South Node are closest to each other while the alignment of Pluto , Jupiter , and the Moon are near each other approaching the mid-heaven (12 o’clock position) in the charts. All the planetary movements, noted over time, tell a story to those who know how to decode the information. It says that lessons from the past give us a great deal of diverse information we can draw upon to better integrate new values.

Watch the planetary movements in the animated illustration. First, find the gold Sun and follow its path as well as the path of Mercury as they approach and both draw close to Pluto and Jupiter (at about the 12 o’clock position). Pay attention to the way movement of the planets move like the hands of a clock ticking off time and moving closer and then past each other as dancers do in a dance. Note the close positioning of the Sun , the Moon , Mercury , Chiron , with a close proximity to Neptune and the North Node . This strong cluster of planets on the eclipse all in the sign of Aquarius describe the forward movement of individual’s in their own way as participants in the collective evolution of our universe. Move further toward the culmination of this New Moon in May and notice that the Moon moves into the position previously held by the prenatal Sun , Earth , and Moon (7:30 o’clock and 2:30 o’clock). Mercury moved past the Sun making it a positive time for gaining a new “take” on things with others and within your own unconscious. The Sun passes Uranus , thus, they enhance this opportunity through their connection with Mercury . At the same time notice how Neptune , the North Node , Chiron , and Venus stay close in their position (10:30 o’clock) right after the time of the February 7 eclipse. This New Moon of February 7, 2007 can bring about positive transformation if you set your intentions so they are congruent on all layers of your being.
